Summary
This partially completed colour compilation film, with voice over and music soundtrack, explores the buildings and grounds of the Weald and Downland Open Air Museum, West Sussex.
Description
This film shows external and some internal views of several of the buildings at the museum. Members of the public wander around the grounds looking at the buildings and landscape. Two men are shown shaping wooden beams to complete a building structure using traditional methods. Various shots demonstrate rural trades and show craftspeople using traditional skills to build wooden fences, spin wool, make cheese, make household brooms, work on trug baskets and build bee keeping skeps.
The film is not complete with several shots inserted to lengthen the film, causing the soundtrack/voice over to fragment/ drop out in places.
