Made from a pair of sailor's white canvas trousers by a Tottenham printer; Daily Chronicle, 15th Aug. 1922: A novel "carrier". The baby in the picture was seen at Southend being conveyed in a novel type of "carrier" made from a pair of sailor's canvas trousers Lettering on photograph verso, some handwritten in ink, some (extract from Daily Chronicle newspaper) typewritten on attached label
