Description

Two men wearing white overalls are shown pulling a covered hand-cart containing a mobile disinfection unit to the Vestry Hall, close to Ebury Bridge, London, where items of clothing etc. would be placed in a disinfecting oven for decontamination. The top-hatted man supervising was Mr. Dickson, Inspector of Nuisances for the parish of St. George, Hanover Square (Thomson and Smith, op. cit.)
