Lettering

If this science be cultivated, I doubt not but the time will come when on hiring a servant, an examination of the organick manifestations of the mental faculties as developed on the superficies of the pericranium, will supersede the necessity of further enquiry into character. See lecture on phrenology. W Taylor del et sc. Noticeboards on the walls read: "Servants wanted." "Regulations phrenological office for servants. 1. None need apply with bumps from accidental causes. 2. Persons at a distance may send a cast. 3. Office charges at per bump. Broadhead & Co. Agents." Books by Gall and Spurzheim are on the bookshelf.
