This sketch of a monument to the memory of a beloved child of Mr Francis Taylor, surgeon of Romsey, sculptured by her father & erected in the Abbey Church of St Mary Romsey, is dedicated by permission, to the Hon.ble and Rev.d Gerard T. Noel, vicar, by hs obedient humble servant, Wm. Chignell, publisher, Romsey. Francis Taylor sc. H. Tiffin del. et lith. Inscription on the side of the monument: "Is it well with the child? It is well!"
