About this work

Description

Brougham strongly opposed the government measures relating to Canada and was alone in this position for a while. He was eventually supported by Mansfield and Ellenborough. The title refers to the farce of "Three and the Deuce" with the well known characters Pertinax, Peregrine and Percival Single
